Coach Stevenson has 20 years of head coaching and program administration experience and is currently the Middle School Physical Education instructor at Monument Academy. Prior to moving to Colorado he was an NCAA Division III and NAIA/MCLA Head Coach, founded his own youth lacrosse program in Chicago and has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2006.
Stevenson has coached more than 50 collegiate and high school all conference players, lead Saint Ignatius College Prep (IL) to the 2009 Class B State Title, and regularly works with all ages and skill levels of lacrosse players.
As a long time lacrosse and strength coach, some of the best players he has seen play the game have been multi-sport athletes. With lacrosse encompassing so many tactical and technical skills included in other sports, he believes that youth through high school players are best served experiencing multiple sports. Equally important as playing multiple sports he stresses physical literacy through strength and conditioning allowing athletes to better understand what they can do to help themselves be their best.
Additionally, Stevenson is the Owner and Head Strength Coach for his company, LRN 2 Move and coaches his son and the Rangers youth U9 team.
